Somebody Stole My Domain Name

Can't believe that my domain name is now owned by another person. I'm talking of wealthyfreelancer.com. Yes, someone bought it and it is parked free courtesy of a hosting company.

Now this is what I call legal stealing.

Why? Because wealthyfreelancer is an establsihed domain name. What with all the URLs there are over the internet. See for yourself, type wealthyfreelancer.com on Google.

Because I did not renew it, somebody took interest. Now, I regret letting it go.

I know how you feel. I lost www.WarrenBuffet.net. I know it's not www.WarrenBuffet.com, but it got a lot of traffic.

Some nights, I'll pour a glass of Malbec and buy domain names for fun. I've had as many as 1000+. It costs me like $8,000 a year to renew them, so I put most of them in Cash Parking to recoup a little. I own http://www.DonaldTrumpRealEstate.com and http://www.DonaldTrumpBooks.com and http://www.DonaldTrumpVisaCard.com and they all pay for their domain name renewal every year.

All in all, you can take any domain name like www.FudgeRippleWine.com and make a killing if you have a plan for great content for the site. Yes, www.FudgeRippleWine.com is available as of the end of March of 2008. I won't compete for it. Also, www.FudgeRipple.com is available right now 3/2008 and I won't claim it. However, if there is someone out there with a Fudge Ripple dream, they'll make a killing from today forward if they buy it and work it.

I own the http://www.AppleSeedProject.com and there is a similar site at www.AppleSeedProject.org. They used to be an incredible charitable website, but I'm not sure anymore. It's looks like it's a blog now. I often get emails wanting to buy domain names from me and sometimes I do the same. I paid dearly for http://www.GuruInterview.com, but I've never done anything with it. I put the stuff I would like to put on Guru Interview on http://www.REDHOTspeakers.com, but I like the Guru Interview lingo better.

By the way, it's great to see that you've already made over 30 posts during the first 3 months of 2008. I know it's not a cakewalk to Easy Street as an Internet marketer, but it does produce an spark of encouragement now and then doesn't it?
