This is my last post for Holly Mann/Honest Riches blog for the year 2007. I welcome the new year with a smile and a hope that my online endeavor will take off in 2008.
Right now, I'm building my own website (again). Well, actually, I'm outsourcing it this time. I’ve learned the secrets of outsourcing from Holly Mann's eBook. I have posted the project on Scriptlance and right now, it’s open for bids. I have until January 7th to choose.
Scriptlance is cool because whatever technical blunder you have, you can hire someone to do it for you. And what is cool-er about it is, programmers who can easily do the job would bid. You win because you choose anyone you like, not necessarily the lowest bid but whoever you think is capable of doing the job.
This 2008, I will have a brand new website that I am determined to keep – up or low—whatever the time is. I will be happy to add it in my signature in my outgoing email, I will be proud to tell people that I own that website.
Holly Mann in her Honest Riches eBook mentioned about open source (i.e., websites, software) that we can use freely. I downloaded one but I can’t open it. Apparently, I need to have another program to run it. Holly Mann mentioned a few technical matters in her eBook, Honest Riches 2007, which I think for a regular person, would be hard to apply. Yes, it was understandable what she meant but it was not as exhaustive. There are areas that need more explanation. I don’t consider myself non-techie but I stumble with some steps and techniques. Even when I Googled further, it would not get me the answer. For me, there’s a world out there that only programmers, developers, and SEOs understand and I’m simply out of the circle.
But for me right now, Scriptlance is the answer. I’m outsourcing the building of my website and I would not think any other way.

I have been re-reading Holly Mann’s eBook: Honest Riches. I have been clicking on the links and most of them do not work. This is frustrating. I hope Holly Mann is aware of this and would act on the problem quick.

Can’t Believe It’s Christmas Eve!
I have to say that it’s time to forget about internet marketing for a while and talk about the holiness of this season. It sure is THE season of the year. I wish that everyone will have a happy holiday and take the time to really focus on what matters. Jesus died for us all to redeem our sins so that all of us will have an everlasting life.
But of course, today is God’s birthday and not his death. For all it is, Jesus is ALIVE and resides in all of our hearts. I’m very happy that He lives in my heart and he is the Lord of my life.
Since this is a Holly Mann Blog, I would like to say a little about Holly Mann. She did allow me to download Honest Riches 2007 free of charge. (Because I bought the original version last year). It is loaded with information but it left me with a lot of questions. I’m now planning to build another website which is far different from my very-broad ill-fated website: WealthyFreelancer.com.
I was trying to reach Holly Mann to ask her help on creating a free website through her. It’s free with the catch of hosting with her partner site, BlueHost, where you have to subscribe. So that makes it a free with a fee. The trouble is the links to her websites don’t work. Even her URLs that I even type in the browsers. I ‘m pretty certain there is a technical problem. Maybe Holly Mann doesn’t have enough bandwidth. I can’t put my finger into it because I definitely do not know.
Be that said, I wish everyone reading my blog Merry Christmas. Have the best year ever!

Thank you Holly Mann!
I applaud Holly Mann for her 2007 Honest Riches. Personally, I think Honest Riches eBook is well-written this time. I would not be surprised to know if she outsourced the writing but it really made a thousand difference. From 43-page to 95-page eBook but it is packed with information. It is truly revised, easier to read, easier to follow.
Here’s the parts that is on the negative though:
o Several links in the Honest riches eBook don’t work. Holly Mann should update the links.
o She needs to elaborate on some topics she discussed like turnkey websites. I have more questions after I finished reading the topic which is just a third of a page.
o Holly Mann needs to expand her explanation on how the search engines would not index a website.
o I don’t know if her SEO guide is enough. I’ve done it but there’s really something that I’ve been missing.
I will still work on my marketing techniques online. I’m so hopeful that this time it will work out.

Finally, Honest Riches 2 from Holly Mann
I finally got it after almost two weeks, exactly 13 days of waiting: the updated version or the 2007 edition of Honest Riches by Holly Mann.
I also got a “thank you” from the support staff of Holly Mann who replied to my email for “being so patient.” So I got it and I just run through it. It is 95-page long this time. Yes, there many addition to it and I will need time to read it over. Lots of information to absorb, lots of techniques to learn. I’m beginning to get dizzy just thinking about it.
The fact that I have the updated version of Honest Riches by Holly Mann is remarkable. It sells for $37 and I got the original version for only $19.97. I really got my money’s worth. Like I paid for a lifetime membership for this wonderful eBook. It was really a good deal. And now, I don’t regret ever buying Honest Riches/Holly Mann’s eBook.
From the email of the staff of Holly Mann, I also got three links to some bonuses. I want to skip them this time. All eBook authors are including bonuses in their promotions. But those free eBooks that came along with the purchase are ultimately nothing, with low to zero value in them. They are full of links pointing to the paid one, the real one, so you could buy it. So free eBooks? Nah…they are just promotions.

What is it to think outside the box? Yes, I bought this eBook, Honest Riches, in a box, complete with details and how-tos. I guess I covered everything what the author, Holly Mann, outlined in her eBook. Now, it’s time to think outside the box. It’s time to think outside of Holly Mann/Honest Riches.
In the course of following the steps and recommendations of Holly Mann in her Honest Riches eBook, I found SiteSell. This is a complete in itself webhosting. It took me a year before I signed up and now I’m thinking like if I signed up a year ago, my website is now up and running and I have not made mistakes or even if I did, it would have not cost me money that I don’t have.
Holly Mann of Honest Riches talked about profiting from a website using affiliate programs. Basically, it’s all about selling downloadable eGoods – like eBooks, software, videos and subscribing to free and/or paid websites that provide tools to optimize your website.
Well, all of them is incorporated in SiteSell. SiteSell itself has an extensive tutorial and a walk-through process making it easy for no-tech persons like I was, in making a website and actually making money out of it.
When I made my research on SiteSell, there was no negative feedback. Just like Holly Mann, the founder of SiteSell has no unpleasant reputation over the internet. Even big websites that Holly Mann mentioned in her eBook (i.e., Clickbank) recommend SiteSell and probably where I clicked on the link to get to the SiteSell’s website.
Holly Mann did not endorse SiteSell— I don’t know the reason behind it. Maybe a complete webhosting is not in Holly Mann’s league. But for everyone, especially newbies who have no clue how to make money online, SiteSell is definitely one of the stopovers you should check out. I did. And I’m not yet blogging about it.

Thinking Inside Holly Mann/Honest Riches
As I wrote in my previous blog (later than the last one), Holly Mann is a proponent of keywords. What made her eBook Honest Riches compete with the level of the Rich Jerk was because she used the keyword rich jerk, an already popular keyword.
Now, what about links? That should also go hand in hand with keywords. If quality related websites are linking to your website, then the higher the ranking of your website becomes.

Info Blog: Honest Riches eBook by Holly Mann
The title of this blog is the name of the press release I submitted to a free press release website. I’m still following Holly Mann’s direction in her eBook, Honest Riches. A press release is a way in scoring high in SEO points and thus making your ranking on top of the index. Well, I’m speaking so technical now that even I, myself could not it. Just like I know what the terms mean but my brain is kind of slow in defining them on my own. Like there is this dissonance with the way I see them (like letters grouped together to form a word) and the way I define them in my mind.
Well, this is more or less a kind of problematization with words. But since we are on this, let me tell you something about myself. Well, I do have a Master’s degree in Communication. Yes, long long before I became a Holly Mann blogger. I like to think that I’m good with communication since this is my field. But all these blogs you see here, they are not typically the way I write. This blog is still a product of implementing the way of Honest Riches, the eBook by Holly Mann. And it did affect the way I write. I could not tell you the whole story behind this but I have to make this blog tailor-fit in itself to rank high in SEO.
So much for that, back to the press release story. I did a press release but could hardly find a website that would accept press release free of charge. And I swear I’m not releasing any more money from my shallow pocket. Most of the press release sites are there for the money and gratis does not work at this age . But I don’t blame them. Everyone needs to pay their rent/mortgage, right? Not to mention, we all need to eat. Nothing is free. Never will. So, I’m my own press release at this time. I’m posting my press release here. Re-reading Holly Mann/Honest Riches
As I was promised by the staff of Holly Mann, I can get the new version of Honest Riches or Breakthrough Money Making Secrets Revealed, so I’m concentrating on the old version. Just so I know the difference. I heard that the new version of Honest Riches by Holly Mann is almost double the pages of the original. Nevertheless, I’m excited.
As of the update of my road to honest riches, I quit applying the technique on pay-per-click (PPC) as of yesterday. I just saw my money going gone without any return of my investment. I prepaid Adwords about $40 including the setup fee. My competitors have more money with them. They pay an average of $1/click. Being the small internet marketer that I am, I could not pay as much. Plus I am only an affiliate marketer. In contrast, my competitors own, produce, and sell the products they are producing. I just learned that if I am just on the side of pre-selling or advertising the links on the side of my website, then it won’t work. Again, I charge this to experience.
I blame this failure again to poor research and not fully understanding what I was up to. Again, I lost money. Holly Mann, in her eBook, Honest Riches stresses the importance of keywords. That’s where you can find your niche. You can find less supply and high demand out of the keywords and then you can bank on these keywords for your website. This applies even to PPC.
I’m planning to get a whole year’s worth of WordTracker. I know it would cost me $299 but if I get it right this will set me up to good return. Instead of me paying this $10 or $30 or $40 for something that does not work, I may as well pay as much as $299 for something that would.
Bu then, I know I have to study well and study right. I’m waiting for my download of Honest Riches 2 and I hope I will have the strength to try applying the techniques therein, more than I did the original Honest Riches eBook.

Holly Mann Showed Me The Money
I was just thinking about it. Holly Mann is the one who showed me the money in all these internet marketing endeavors. If not for her, I would not be doing this and the mystery of online money making will just be that… a mystery.
But tell to you the truth, the money is not within my reach – not yet. I’ve been trying to make Holly Mann’s techniques as specified in the Honest Riches eBook work and apply for me. But many times I failed.
Just today, I pulled my pay per click Adwords from Google. Yes, I tried that PPC, too. It didn’t work. I think I suck in making ads. Out of thousands of impressions, I only get two clicks in a day. How can it be?
Once something doesn’t work out for me, I’m ready to give up. And the next time I try, I don’t have the enthusiasm like I did the first time. Maybe I’m just so impulsive. I jump on an idea and then when I get a turn down, I would throw in the towel so quick.
Oh, I think motivation is all I need. In this life, it’s really hard to get motivated.

I know Holly Mann really likes WordTracker and she raves about Mike Filsaime of Carbon Copy Marketing and Butterfly Marketing. I already subscribe to WordTracker and although I have difficulty absorbing everything yet, I know I have to, because keywords are just very vital to succeed online. Keywords make the whole internet world go round. So I have to hop in in order to make money online. Yes, I have already decided on that days ago. All I need is motivation and a lot of enthusiasm to learn.
I have looked up Mike Filsaime’s Carbon Copy Marketing, which according to Holly Mann, is making her extra $3,000 on top of her already big monthly income (I guess that would be $12,000). Everything about Holly Mann is public anyway. I am just like echoing all about it in this blog.
I really really want to try this Carbon Copy Marketing. I think Holly Mann got me sold with another ebook or video, whatever it is. Holly Mann is such a good salesperson. I kind of believe everything she says.
But I’m still learning about this SiteSell, which I just bought last month. A whooping $299 for the whole year. I checked on Ken Evoy, the creator of this website hosting tool and everything I found about him was positive. My Frustrations About Holly Mann's eBook and Affiliate Site
I’m just wondering why did I have to buy Holly Mann's eBook when everything is all about SEO. It’s like cutting the chase. Yes, because in the end it’s all about optimizing your website so you can et money out of it in the end. Actually, that is also the core of SiteSell. Know what people are searching online. What it all comes down to are keywords…keywords...keywords.
But I think I still need to know more. I mean I did this technique, too. I built a keyword-focused site but it still didn’t make it to the top ten in Search Engines. Holly Mann said all her websites always make it to the top of all the major search engines. I am so impressed. What do I have to do? I already bought her eBook but it would not work! Is there something that she is not disclosing or am I just too lazy to read Holly Mann’s eBook word for word, word by word, and in between the line. Well, maybe I’m just plain stupid.
Because I am not lazy, I read Holly Mann’s eBook from cover to cover since I bought it on August 16, 2006 about 25 times. Maybe more. And yes I have spent more money doing so. And got more frustrated in the process.

And so I clicked on the one that says “forgot password.” Then I got the page that says I have been generated a password that was sent to my email address. I waited and waited and an hour later I got impatient. I did the process again. But same thing.

The most important lesson I learned from Holly Mann's eBook, Honest Riches, is the Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Holly Mann introduced me this very vital concept in internet marketing. Without SEO knowledge, a website is just dead. SEO is like the frontier of online-money-making civilization. Yes, that’s how I put it. I think I would need to trademark that phrase now.
Kidding aside, I know SEO is the backbone of every website and without proper optimization, the website is doomed to death. Perhaps, that’s what happened to my websites past and present. So I built my first website ever after buying Holly Mann's eBook. I put a lot into it. I became a webmaster, SEO, researcher, writer, and everything that is required to set up a website. And the product is this website called WealthyFreelancer.com. It was online only for three months. I signed up for webhosting through Yahoo and though that is not Holly Mann’s recommendation, I just feel like I trust a bigger company than others.
I really like my website. I built it through Ewisoft, another thing that Holly Mann recommended. Actually she recommended other website builders but Ewisoft was the one I can afford plus it gave me the software download without paying. I worked on it until I felt I got the perfect website. So what is in Holly Mann's ebook? Basically internet marketing techniques. It was a 43-page long PDF file. It was informational I admit. But having a degree in Journalism, I found the writing style to be mediocre. I thought to myself, if I have to write an ebook, then I would be good because this ebook was poorly edited for language usage, spelling or grammar. BNevertheless, Holly Mann's ebook should not be judged on the quality of the writng but the quality of the content.

It has been a year since I bought Holly Mann's eBook
To be exact, it has been about 16 months. So much had happened ever since. I'm still groping in the dark when it comes to internet marketing. I don't know if I ever will make money. Although at first, Holly Mann's ebook was such an inspiration, I have never earned a penny out of internet marketing. But today, I made a firm decision not to give up.
Like Holly Mann, I want to be a success story over the internet. Who doesn't? I want to be able to put up a website showing all my earnings as an internet marketer in five figures a month. I bought her ebook because she seemed very honest. Actually her ebook is interchangeably called Honest Riches or Breakthrough Money-Making Secrets Revealed.
Before buying Honest Riches, eBook by Holly Mann, I really have no inclination to internet money-making. I like the internet -- yes. I devote about half of my waking time in front of the computer. That's both for work, pleasure, or errands. The year was 2004.I just spent a lot of time online as my life depended on it. Maybe to compensate for lack of recreation or something worthwhile to do. Then it occured to me that if only I could monetize all the hours I spent on the internet, then I would have a lot of money. ButI was too careful with my money. I didn't want to lose a dime. Plus I have no clue how to make money online. Sure from time to time I would stumble websites about a person selling his/her ideas on how to make insane money over the internet but I was skeptical. And myhard earned money for $35...oh no. For me the best way to make money is go to work and not spend.
Though penny-pinching worked for me, I sure don't want to do it for all my life. I want to be comfortably rich. Rich in an honest way. Not at the expense of others. My firm Christian upbringing always hold sway. It has been my protection against evil and it served me through the years. Because of the Christianly ways that I was raised, I have never ever lost a night's sleep because of guilt or wrongdoing. And yes, I always have a clean and clear conscience and lived at peace.
Today is almost the end of 2007 and so much had changed since 2004. But it was in 2006 when I bought Holly Mann's ebook. But guess what, in 2005, I met an internet marketer. This is the only internet marketer I really met in bone and flesh. Over time, I realized I met this person by divine power so as to attest that online marketing works. I met him only once but the meeting brought a whole new knowledge for me. Like a door opening in front of me. He told me about his money-making techniques online. I became really interested. I've never heard of that before. He asked me what I wanted to do. I told him "Everything!" He said, "You have to pick up something. It's like a menu. You cannot order everything."

What I got was the older version and maybe applicable for the year 2006. Later I found out that I can buy the same ebook over eBay for $1.00.
Like Holly Mann, I want to be a success story over the internet. Who doesn't? I want to be able to put up a website showing all my earnings as an internet marketer in five figures a month. I bought her ebook because she seemed very honest. Actually her ebook is interchangeably called Honest Riches or Breakthrough Money-Making Secrets Revealed.
Before buying Honest Riches, eBook by Holly Mann, I really have no inclination to internet money-making. I like the internet -- yes. I devote about half of my waking time in front of the computer. That's both for work, pleasure, or errands. The year was 2004.I just spent a lot of time online as my life depended on it. Maybe to compensate for lack of recreation or something worthwhile to do. Then it occured to me that if only I could monetize all the hours I spent on the internet, then I would have a lot of money. ButI was too careful with my money. I didn't want to lose a dime. Plus I have no clue how to make money online. Sure from time to time I would stumble websites about a person selling his/her ideas on how to make insane money over the internet but I was skeptical. And myhard earned money for $35...oh no. For me the best way to make money is go to work and not spend.
Though penny-pinching worked for me, I sure don't want to do it for all my life. I want to be comfortably rich. Rich in an honest way. Not at the expense of others. My firm Christian upbringing always hold sway. It has been my protection against evil and it served me through the years. Because of the Christianly ways that I was raised, I have never ever lost a night's sleep because of guilt or wrongdoing. And yes, I always have a clean and clear conscience and lived at peace.
Today is almost the end of 2007 and so much had changed since 2004. But it was in 2006 when I bought Holly Mann's ebook. But guess what, in 2005, I met an internet marketer. This is the only internet marketer I really met in bone and flesh. Over time, I realized I met this person by divine power so as to attest that online marketing works. I met him only once but the meeting brought a whole new knowledge for me. Like a door opening in front of me. He told me about his money-making techniques online. I became really interested. I've never heard of that before. He asked me what I wanted to do. I told him "Everything!" He said, "You have to pick up something. It's like a menu. You cannot order everything."
From that meeting on, the lure of the internet making me money was put aside because of a major event that took place in my life. It was in the backseat but neer forgotten. Soon when I quit my job because of a difficult pregnancy, it resurfaced and I stumbled upon the website of Holly Mann.
I was just surfing the net, paying bills and trying to learn about pregnancy and childbirth when I diverted to money making online. I searched the search engines. I came up with a lot. I couldn't believe it. The very impressive website I came across was the Rich Jerk. It was unbelievably too good to pass. The Rich Jerk's technique in selling his ebook is way out of the box. Like he reinvented the wheel. It was a reversed approach. I almost bought it.
Had it not been for financial reason. I would have bought the Rich Jerk's ebook. But I have always been frugal. So searched the engines again to find something free but with the same information. The internet marketer I met in 2005 told me no one handed him any information. He learned by himself. He even said that what on earth is not researchable with the internet? I remember him saying everything can be researched freely online. No matter what. But I guess he was wrong.
Information still has a price. But because of competition, sometimes, we can get them cheaper. So when I met Holly Mann through her website, I thought it was a good deal considering that she was claiming her book is better than the Rich Jerk. And ethical, too. So for the price of $19.97, I bought her ebook, Breakthrough Money Making Secrets Revealed or Honest Riches. I know this sells now for $37.00 but it's the updated version. What I got was the older version and maybe applicable for the year 2006. Later I found out that I can buy the same ebook over eBay for $1.00.
